Yup. That’s the plan!

Quinn, if you want that tubing cutter aligned perfectly, just close it on a piece of rod. Whatever position it takes is perfectly aligned with the rod - which can be easily aligned parallel to your drill or mill spindle axis.

Indeed, I have shown superglue fixturing quite a bit on my channel. I didn't do it this time because roll forming puts pretty immense pressure on the part, and I didn't trust superglue to hold it. There's also a bunch of machining that happens on these plates, and copper is hard going, so I didn't think superglue was up to that either.

Thank you! :D

BTW, those end caps came our REALLY nice! .................... Dean

Blondi-Quinn, if you don't have a feature on an end cap that needs holes in it, (like you had for those beautiful end caps) you can use a super-glue arbor and then press your piece between that super-glue arbor and a piece of hardwood for extra support using pressure from your tailstock. I'm made pieces in that manner up to about 5.5" with 1/16" brass and copper. Otherwise very similar to how you show, and when you finish take the piece outside and heat it with a propane or acet/air torch to make the super-glue release.
