I don't have any moral high ground on being nuts, so that's not a charge I'll ever level at anyone else. π You can also cut that slot with a hacksaw or bandsaw, but slitting saws are fun. The actual width of slot isn't specified, because it doesn't much matter. Whatever you can do will work. I think I used a 50 thou slitting saw.

You must think I'm nuts based on the email I just sent. Bloody hell! Thank you Quinn. I did wonder about that .555" dimension as it implied a .005" slot. Right now that's what I can't do as I need a slotting cutter and arbor.

Also, note that the 0.555" is to the centerline of the hole, not the bottom of the slot. You might have to zoom way in to see that.

Okay, that drawing has been corrected on the shared drive. The simplest fix was to add the missing 0.409" dimension below the 0.555", which you can sum to get 0.964". That drawing is already a little crazy, so I didn't want to try and cram another overall dimension in there
Blondihacks
Ah, you're right, there is a missing dimension there. Thanks for letting me know! The overall height is 0.964". I'll upload a corrected drawing here shortly as well.

Hi Quinn, I am making this now, just short on one dimension (I canβt find anyway!), that being the total height of the main block? I can see .555 to the bottom edge of the slot... but no other dimension to total it... π€
