Well I’ll be damned. I went back to give those chapters another go and they really weren’t as graphic as I thought. Everything is just sort of inferred and yet still managed to be a hammer to the face of my own making. A side of the world you were writing that I think I just didn’t expect. I do appreciate the response and warning for other readers, thanks for that. And kudos for…creating worlds between words for your readers to fill in? Intentional or not.

There wasn't. Volume 7 has the elf King and Cerebrate. I cut out almost everything for Cerebrate, and I leave the 'details' for the elf King almost entirely out. (You'll notice Draudillon never witnesses anything directly) But if it helps... the phrase 'payback is a bitch' applies to their futures.

I really need to go back and reread the other volumes. It’s been awhile but I don’t recall there being anywhere near as much sexual violence. I’m only around ch. 26 so I’m assuming upcoming chapters deal with those two characters but man you got my stomach turning. The whiplash in content between chapters and settings is also heavy. Great writing as always but dang if I ain’t gonna space out my intake for my own sanity.

Yes and no? The twists you are putting into this volume though... It's a guilty pleasure to read, but some are truly not what I expect.
