I'm not sure why there's so much animosity towards the postal worker; it doesn't sound like English is her first language, or like she's been speaking it for a long time, and having a complete understanding of the English language is not a requirement for a minimum wage postal job. Words like "scam" are not required knowledge for that, and some of Jim's questions were quite unusual, all the while she was still professional and tried to help him.

I wouldn’t blame the postal worker. I’m sure she gets paid minimum wage to do a mind numbing, difficult job, and she was probably doing two or three other things for them at the same time as she was answering calls.

I truly believe the scammer in addition to the package he received in the mail, had a similar smelling one in his pants. He knows it's Jim and was practically begging for him not to continue to bait them.

Loved this unconventional approach. For next time, you might get more info if you just pose as a potential customer with the mailbox company and ask about their services first. (Do they offer forwarding? Final-leg delivery? What hours are they open for pickup? Do you need ID to open a box? What do they accept for payment? etc.) Then you can tell them a customer is using them to run a scam.

I know she's 99% sure NOT involved, but wow that girl on the phone was thick. I first thought she was hesitant to reveal classified information, but as it went on she just seemed to not understand basic questions. question: "So, someone is going to pick that up?" answer from official rep: "okay...". You might want to change tack, Jim, and just inquire to the specifics WITHOUT mentioning it's a scam. It seems to leave people confused or suspicious. Similar to the older gentleman who struggled so much in a recent video. I recognise in you a tendency I share, to want to be tóó honest and informative. When, in some cases, it's counter-productive. Maybe just leave it at "slightly wary/nosy sender". It's not that weird to want to know a time-frame for delivery, after all. "I just called to ask to confirm someone is picking it up, and at what frequency roughly" and take it from there. You can always ring them back later to warn them of the suspicion of scammers.

Okay this - THIS - is why it’s so worthwhile to be a patron. Not only the satisfaction of supporting your anti-scammer work, but the sheer entertainment value you’ve given us here! And choosing shit was especially effective for cultural reasons! Whoever handled it would lose face big time. Nice work! 😂😂
