We try to help you. I'm just finishing the "Thwarting..." video from three months ago. I was sorry for the man you so desperately tried to help. My suggestion this (probable) elder gentleman and others would be to speak in short sentences and use simple, one-step requests, such as "Can you call your bank next?" Give them some direction, a single step at a time. With the passage of time older people (I'm one of them) can have trouble with compound requests such as "Get rid of your Team Viewer and call your bank." Often they will only hear one or the other. -- Again, thanks for all this and it's easy to sit here and be an armchair commenter. Keep up your fight and we do appreciate it.

I can not understand why someone would ask this question. Ask all of the families these idiots have hurt. Ask the family of lady who committed suicide, if Jims tactics are ok. As Jim has stated he does not go after someone until they go after him and when that happens all bets are off if you ask me.

As much as I love scambaiters, and watching them do their craft we really need to put an end to this practice and put them out of business, too many people have suffered for far too long, and this is why I happily support you and your efforts :)

Why haven't you got a CBE yet Jim???. Listened to the head of of City of London Police cyber crime on Panorama....if they had been more proactive over the last year, thousands of people would have avoided being scammed. Well done Jim.

Google pick off 99percent of spam on my computer so you wonder is there not a system where the phone companies cannot do something about known numbers in India (yes I know they'll keep changing the nrs) but also can nothing be done at the ISP level to halt them ?

Truly, truly amazing work...as usual. When you have this level of access to a call centre, have you ever thought about disrupting their work? Not to the point of flicking a switch to block them like call flooding, but somehow almost make it non-commercially viable for them, a deterrent of sorts so it is less obvious?

This is all so grimy, petty and pathetic. These people have no self respect. How anyone can look at themselves in the mirror every day when all they contribute to the world is profiting from ignorance, I'll never understand. What a waste of a life and the potential every person possesses. How disappointed their families must be. I don't think Indians are any less moral than other people, they would want their children to do good in the world and now they've been humiliated. It's horrible.
