Thank you, Jim! Great podcast with a wonderful glimpse into your greatest joys and frustrations. I really enjoyed this. Being a scientist, I enjoyed your flat-earth discussion. I’m looking up Hovind, and I am disgusted by this guy who essentially is scamming and mind-twisting the most trusting and vulnerable. Makes me want to go rescue people who believe junk “science”. I’ll be watching SciManDan.

Jim and SMD!! Two of my favorites in one place!! Excellent! I have to admit that this is the very first podcast (other than YouTube) I’ve ever bothered to listen to! And a great interview as well. I work for a major US bank where I fight against fraud and scams. I’ve actually learned some things that I’ve always wondered about regarding some of the “tricks” scammers use. Thanks Jim! I should get PAID to watch your show!

Adam Ruth, all you need to do is become a Patron and support him as a creator. You select the level of patron support. There are relatively low financial contribution levels ranging up to hefty significant support numbers which I am sure Jim will thank you for. Good talk, Jim. You kind of did but just to mention one thing you might like to emphasise when doing these sorts of talks is that this is an industry. Scammers are not watching YouTube for a laugh to see their mates getting hassle. They watch YouTube as market research. The scamming is professional and the companies doing the scamming are making big money. You may also like to mention that governments of countries where the scamming originates may not be that interested in stopping the scamming since it is income for their country. I think a number of people assume scamming is still done by some poor Nigerian in some dodgy internet cafe. Things have moved on.
