I like this version of the song much better! Great chapter. Totally taken off-guard by the cliffhanger, though. After reading the previous version (and not reading your notes in this post), I expected a whole other half to it.
Eeeeh, not exactly. Luna is too pissed and Celestia too guilt-ridden, both for nontrivial reasons, to fix things with an apology song/friendship speech/etc.
