Amazing dragon! How long is it printed in 100%?

I test to 50% on all my models for functionality and printability. The scales will be fragile depending on settings and material used. I have seen them much smaller at 35%...but they do get very fragile.

Just kicked mine off at 70% size, .2 layer, and using some pretty amolen red copper silk. It's going to be a long 12 hours.

IT WORKS!!!! Haha 😂 I was messing around and didn’t realize that it has to click into itself just have to click the neck bottom into themselves at the bottom so little hard with the .8 layers but works cheers 🍻 amazing deigned user error 😝

Well I had an ender3 get freed up so I threw this on there with rainbow 🌈 filament printer was set up with a .8 nozzle 6walls for strength and I didn’t want to change it so it came out pretty good but his head won’t stand up watch out for the weight of the head going to reprint on a .4 2wall setup but for this it’s my fault 🤦‍♂️ not thinking of weight 🤔😕

use a .6 nozzle .4 layer height itll cut time dramatically did the crystal dragon that way on the Chiron its 3.5 ft long took 32 hrs

hmm, print came out great at 100% but I can't get it to lock at all. either the holes are to large to catch it or the pegs are too small for some reason.

you should be able to lock 1 spike behind the front legs and 1 spike in front of the back legs and push them together

That's tough because printers can all be very different. I usually go with a .12 on my enders and just wait it out. .15 on my prusa. .2 on my fokoos. I like to go with 3 walls. infill no lower then 15% 20% to be safe

Trying this on my Ender 3. What resolution is suggested? .4 nozzle - .2? or .16? Tried at 40% with silk PLA at .2 and a couple places fused, but in general it came out ok. I'm thinking if I don't scale it down so small it may have better results, but before I do that long of a print, I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Maybe I'll try regular non-silk pla 1st.

that dragon looks nice just printed the crystal dragona and it came out great. just have to be more patient and slow down the printing process. Due to all the small movements that don`t take long ive been getting a little sag and shifting. But soon it will be ready to mass print hahaha. Thanks for being so amazing.
