Big things Happening! (Anycubic Alien)
🕑 Added 2022-08-30 17:18:45 +0000 UTCLast month I was approached by Anycubic to create a new Flexi for their Brand, and I thought, "who am I to say no to Anycubic?"
So the dialog started. Keep in mind, dealing with a Chinese company usually takes a day between emails.
In my research of the company I read an excerpt from an interview of Anycubic cofounder James Ouyang saying “Following our heart is important." I wanted a way to incorporate that concept into a model, as this sentiment is also important in my life.
I started by asking them what kind of flexi they wanted, thinking they already had something in mind... nope! To be perfectly honest, for me, sometimes coming up with an idea is the hardest part. No pressure.
I thought about it for a couple weeks and finally decided this Alien was a great idea! They liked it too and here we are, finally able to share the collaboration with you.
As I'm sure you noticed, he has a synthetic Cube in his chest, (like a heart). He also has The Anycubic font "A" on his belt.
Something I pushed for was allowing me to share it with all of you before the official release, and they agreed. Sept. 12th for Patrons. Woo hoo!!!
