Bonus: Flexi Factory Skeleton Dinosaur Plaques
🕑 Added 2024-02-25 19:30:59 +0000 UTCI hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
This month's bonus is a special request from several members, and I excited to start this collection with a fun a way to display these two Dino characters.
T-Rex has an opening mouth like the original model, and I have added a pop-in ball socket
on the plaque, with holes in the back for easy wall mounting. I made these as big as my plate allows and they are now proudly hanging in my maker space :) These scale down easily for fridge magnets or maybe even clothes hooks?
What is the OOPS plaque??? *** If you scale the triceratops too large (max out the size of the head on your plate) I provided an OOPS plaque because the original won't fit your print bed. You can also just use the oops plaque if you want the head as big as possible. Please scale them first and make sure they match :)***

Printed in Polymaker muted white and stained with THIS for a "bone" look. I also spray with matte polyurethane.
My settings are 15% infill, 3 walls at .12 layer height.
No supports needed. I use a purple glue stick on cool/smooth plate. Or Magigoo on my A1 mini textured pei plate. I do not use a brim, but it can help with adhesion.
Plaques scale up identical to character.
An easy upgrade to the plaque... you can make a layer color change and swap filaments to add a colored trim.

Can you make these head mounts into controller holders/mounts?

Whats the best way to mount the plaques on the wall. Hooks? or a big nai?
Dan
I printed at 50% however th3 magnets were not inset, I glued them on the existing hanging holes. You can modify in the slicer with a bigger hoke and inset them. Those holes were added to hang on nails

Hey Dan, what size print do you use for fridge magnets? I bought the 5x2mm magnets from your other post. But magnet hole is too small when printing the plaque at 30%.
