Bonus: Flexi Factory Mini Skeleton for Keychains, Magnets and Earrings!
🕑 Added 2024-09-27 21:24:48 +0000 UTCI have been wanting to beef up the joints and make a mini version of my skeleton for a long time.
As you may know, the flexi Skeleton was my very first Flexi, and although it is possible to shrink him down, his joints got way too small and fragile to make him a mini. This one works great at almost any size!
I made 3 versions...
Magnet version
I put magnet slots in the head and hips. This way, it holds on tight to magnetic surfaces, and is also easy to pose. Simply super glue in 6x2mm refrigerator magnets. Here is a link: MAGNETS
Keychain version
Use this one for keychains, backpack hangers, Halloween decor or earrings (scale down to 60-70%. I used a .08 layer height for these)
Regular version
This one is just great as a toy!

Well I wanted to share about our fun results! I've printed these skeletons as small as 50% reduced and enlarged it up to 425%. Talk about awesome! Just over 14 inches tall! Super fun to print!

The full size version is one of the downloads above in the post :-) I do have the older version which is much linkier and larger, and that one is available with the 40% off code if you want it. This is the beefier version. In terms of the magnets, I'm not sure if I'm going to do versions of set in magnets. With everybody having different machines and having to figure out when to stop them, what size to use Etc, it makes sense to add a modifier in the slicer in my opinion. But let me think on a little bit more and see if there's an easier way to make it for a broader audience.

Two things, (great files by the way) Could the magnetic version be modified so that we can put the magnet inside, we could then make a hold at the appropriate point? Am I being silly, but there is no link to a full size version?
