Flexi Factory Skeleton Ankylosaurus
🕑 Added 2025-01-16 19:54:44 +0000 UTCHi everyone!
I am very excited about adding to the Skeleton Dino collection with the Fully Print-in-Place Ankylosaurus. The skeleton dinos continue to be my most requested designs... which is great, because they are so fun to create. Especially this one, with the spiky texture and super flexi tail and body.
My son discovered the hilarious handstand feature that balances perfectly hahaha. A happy accident that really adds to the personality of this character. My yogi wife is super jealous, because she hasn't been able to nail this pose yet 🤣
Happy Printing -Dan

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality suggested
As usual. make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works, however I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate (LOVE it).
I test printed between 40% and 125% for this design. Consider high quality materials and settings, the smaller you go.
Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List
1st photo has 125% and 40% STLs: Amolen Yellow Feldspar Rock and ISanmate Yellow/Green
2nd and 3rd photo 100% 3MFs: Bambulab Ocean to Meadow Gradient (I love this one for ocean Flexis too:) Cookiecad Sunrise and your favorite black and white pla
4th photo STLs are 100% and 70%: Ziro Rainbow Blaze and Meadow Mirage

It is an older public release. Available with the 40% off discount. It is not on the server any longer included.

I can't seem to find the .stl file of this ankylosaurus. Where can I download it? I'm a patreon member.

Scaling up is great. I have a lot of detail in my print so they scale up beautifully. If you go down to small you can lose some of that detail but no problem for you at 1:40

If I scale to 140 so fit the plate full will they be problems with the print???

I tend to provide something to put in the mouth when it opens. I don't always design with an open mouth if I feel like the character is better without it. So I did not provide a little extra item for this one. But the Panda which is free comes with a stick. That's a great little prop!

Since the conivors get a fish/bone why cant the herbivores get a stick/leaf? J/food for thought

Hi new subscriber here! What is the size of the eyes if I print no eyes? Thank you.

Another amazing skeleton dino file!! How about a flexi Pterodactyl who can stand by leaning on its legs and wing claws? Amazing work!!
