Cut Version Of the Mini Pumpkin jack is here! And he is scalable to a whopping 800% on Bambu P1s and X1C!!! ...Of course, he is a "mini" π
I grappled with the best infill pattern. I tried Gyroid at 8%, but it used a lot of filament and took a long time due to the huge volume!
Then I found a video that suggested using "Adaptive Cubic" for large volumes, which seems like a really great idea π‘Shout out to @UncleJessy, who makes very helpful videos, and has been a Patron of mine from the very beginning (March of 2022 π)
*If you want to check out the video, you can take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plbxRFqnhuc
And if you are new, struggling with prints, just want to show off, or meet some very cool folks... head over to the private Flexi Factory Discord! There are some very kind and helpful members and moderators on there that have saved people's lives, jkjk. Prints, time and $$, which feels like a lifesaver in the 3d world π
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend and Happy Printing - Dan

I am sorry. I advertised all month and have the info in the public post regarding dates of availability :( I try to get the info out ahead of time.
Javier
I am so sad, I subscribed 15 hours late to grab the XXL :sadpanda:
Dan
Please read above, I left a detailed message about Redeeming the link for the Skeleton Jack file if you did not grab it before I removed it last night:-) you always have access to everything you received for the month.
Dan
The exclusive files and what is included rotates each month, so it's not available for October members. But as a member in September you do have access to the design if you were not able to grab it from the download post. I just removed it at about 11:30 p.m. central Time last night. I sent everyone who is a member a link to redeem the files for September which includes the Skeleton Jack. The email is sent to whatever address is here on file and it is a link for my mini Factory archive. If your my mini Factory free account matches your email address here, the links Auto redeem to that account. If you have a free MMF account with a different address you must click the redeem link that I send and then all of the files will show up in your account there for storage and future use:-)

I've been trying to find the link to download this for the last 24hours or so? Have i now missed it?? Thanks
Chris Pape
My download didnβt complete and I cannot find the file - can you help at all?
Dan
Unfortunately no. I dabbled with the design but they are carved into the shape and not just a flat cut out to glue in.
Denny Helberg
Hey Dan! Is there anyway of adding cutouts to the eyes so I can glue them in the eyes mouth and nose?
Dan
Can you send the photos your printer and settings materials Etc to the Discord troubleshoot? There's no way of figuring out what's going on without seeing it. You can also send me some photos to flexifactory@gmail.com. I have not had anybody with issues in regards to the Head. So maybe have something to do with the settings or material. Is anyone having trouble printing the head? I have everything finished and had to print the head 2 times and still cant get it to print right. Its just the center of the head. Its all mangled. I was on 53% and had to stop it.
Mzim88
Loved printing this, they turned out great
Dan
I suggest never using supports
jjrice
As an xxl version does this print without supports
Dan
I always forget to do this in the process of creating the zip files. I just need to make a checklist when I'm getting things ready:-)
Mischief Crew
Hi Dan - I'm still stuck on the nutcracker. How about just updating the head so that it is interchangeable from Christmas to Halloween? ππ π π π
John Reimer
Can I make a recommendation? How about added pictures like you have on the post in your files zip files?

Gloop glue. I've never had a skeleton come apart since using it.

What is the best glue to use?? Iβve tried gorilla glue but itβs still not holding the head
Dan
The stem is a hook yes
Debra Jarskey
does this have a hook for hanging?
Katrina
I have 4 of my machines going with this one. I canβt wait for it to be done!
Maris Cherup
Prints flawless.
Kandi LeBlanc
He has some swag for sure i love him!!
Dan
Mine was 700%. I used less than one roll per color. The green and yellow were painted.
Dan
Great feedback. Thank you for sharing!

I use adaptive cubic infill almost exclusively. It's strong in all 3 dimensions with increased density near the perimeters, prints fast, uses less filament than other infills, and doesn't shake the printer like gyroid. It's safe to say I never use the infill setting specified in the 3mf file...unless the creator picked adaptive cubic. π I don't use it for transparent/translucent prints (I pick an infill more aesthetically pleasing) or near-solid infill (> 95%) in which case I use rectilinear. Infill percentage doesn't seem to mean the same thing between infill patterns so I typically don't go lower than 15% with adaptive cubic, though because it prints so fast I often go even higher. I look at the sliced model and adjust the number. I also don't like to skimp so I'm sure I use more than necessary. Gyroid is fun when wall thickness is set to 0, makes for interesting prints!
Cody
So what settings did you end up using? Adaptive cubic 8% 2 walls?
Jake Vance
How much filament did you use for this?
Dan
No, it does not. None of my skeletons stand
Scott Griffiths
Dan, I haven't downloaded this yet but can this skeli stand??
Robert Shober
This is Awesome!
Michael Daddone
Love it
Dan
I printed in one color because of this. My wife painted it! The stem is a hanger so I thought it best to keep it integrated. That is quite heavy. I would like to believe these types of things will get easier and cheaper/less waste to print as technology increases. I don't own the H2 yet, but dual nozzles seems like a step in the right direction!
Dan
I need more machines for these big ones! Luckily, we have a couple months until Halloween :)
Jay Butcher
Anyway to make the stem of the head separate? Just sliced the head, 1D16H11M with 895 filament changes. LOL 1133g used.

πππ ! Wish we had time to scale this up to the XXXL too! Still working on the 650% Trex! Last 2 pieces are 3.7kg of filament and 5 days of time!
Dan
Anyone else notice how swanky Skeli Jack is hahaha. The large one is hilarious because it is heavy enough to pose!
Michael Daddone
Okay Dan!! Have to print
Matthew Davies
Have to make this as a xxl for sure. Thank you will download it tomorrow
