Hi folks,
I know the last poll was a tough one! Closest runoff we have had in a couple years .The Ladybug was a fun challenge and a new mechanism for the wings was necessary to give it customizable options and the ability to "fly." π€£
I did go ahead and add the captured magnet version. For those that think you may want a keychain, don't forget you can add holes and loops. I played with all kinds of options and just felt overall, it was a little too bulky and articulated to make a keychain a viable option. But if you're feeling jazzy... give it a try.

Print tips and Info:
I successfully test printed between 60% and 115% for this one. You can go big, no problem. The smaller versions have the littlest legs, so use high quality materials and settings. I personally feel 70% is as small as you should go.
Right and left wings are interchangable, though there is a more correct way to place them.
8x3 magnets should be used for 100% and 6x2 magnets at 80%. Magnets are linked in the info below.
STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
I print with, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.
Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List
1st and 3rd photo is 100% 3MF magnet and regular versions: I used a glitter red that is currently unavailable, but linked another option Ziro Diamond Red. Also note I printed one version with the black body and face.
2nd photo is 90% 3MF: Overture Yellow, Sunlu White, Anycubic Black
4th photo is 80%: Ziro Peachy Sunrise and Sunlu Red for the Wings

The ladybug was from 3 months ago and was included for the members who voted on it at that time. After the initial month of release it is vaulted for 3 months. The good news is it's about to come out again for $3.99 for new members! I will be sending out the Vault info with all of the links to purchase for anybody who wanted to grab that older design tomorrow. There are several items out of the Vault since January of 2024.

The ladybugs are exclusive, so they are not available on the platform. They move off after the first month, depending on when you were a member you should be able to get them on the server when they're released but if you did not download them you would be able to get them on MMF as a archive file

On the captured magnet version there are little holes that you can see when you slice it. You would put a pause in the print and add the magnets and then the print finishes and covers the magnets so they are installed

Iβm loving this ladybug soo much. Seriously I canβt stop fidgeting with it. I think I need this but a lightning bug. Like the same wings but the lightbulb kind of shape butt
