If you are into the zodiac at all, you may be surprised to learn both my wife and kiddos are Scorpios! So this design was a must-do and an absolute blast to work on.
I really enjoy the fully print-in-place models, especially with the amount of articulation this character has. It is easily printable in a variety of sizes and looks amazing in gradient silk pla.
The 3mf provided has a Scorpion from Mortal Combat vibe for you gamers that may be familiar 😎🎮 Thanks to @dragon1776 for the Silver Rub and Buff on black pla idea 🔥 My wife did a killer post apocalyptic battle bot paint job on this 205% Cyber Scorpion in about 20 minutes!

And I have added an XL version with a glue on tail for those that want to supersize this creepy crawler!!! (scale as large as your plate)
Print tips and Info:
I successfully test printed between 60% and 150% for this one. You can go big, no problem. The smaller versions have the littlest legs, so use high quality materials and settings. I personally feel 70% is as small as you should go.
STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
I print with, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the smaller versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.
Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List
1st and 2nd Photo is 150% STL and 100% 3mf: Amolen Tri color Blue/Green/Orange and Amazon Basic Silk Gold, Anycubic Black, Justmaker Silk Blue
3rd photo is 80% STL: TTYT3D Silk Yellow/Green

Well, I got the extra large cyborg scorpion printing now Dan i’m doing the body on my K1 max and I’m doing the other parts the tail and the front legs done on my Creality Hi and as you mentioned earlier, your son’s and your wife for Scorpios, I am also a Scorpio. This is why this model means so much to me and thank you for creating this one

Print in black, then she applies with a dry fine cloth. Just a little goes a long way. She also highlights with a shimmer model paint.
