Yeah, but I've also seen a LOT of creators not taking it seriously and just skating by assuming that the current TOS that got put in place like 2 years ago is still going to protect them, and are completely ignoring the reality that in 2025 the rules constantly change and literally seem to not matter. I don't know how anyone can trust anything.

Sorry that happened :/ It's so trash. Hopefully itch doesn't completely destroy NSFW on its platform and limits their crackdown to the truly most extreme stuff and most people get to continue as normal... But it's a really bad precedent and I still don't trust anything. Substar, luckily, isn't beholden to payment processors because their payments go through different companies and/or directly to bank accounts through wire transfer, it's sort of what their whole business model was based around. I think they're safe for now, but hopefully it stays that way.

Yeah, times are tough. I lost all my traffic on Itch today, which makes up the majority of my visibility when I post content. I think there's only Subscribestar that files under the radar right now. Stay strong.
