I have some good news. I had my appointments today and the lump we found is thankfully nothing sinister. They do want to operate on it though as it could cause issues in the future, so I've been put on a waiting list to get it removed.
I'm so relieved but I also feel exhausted. I'm so pleased how quickly everything was sorted in the end. The clinic was lovely, the nurses were super helpful and encouraging. Sad truth, but I was praised for looking after myself.
I've been thinking about running some sort of campaign at some point for a cancer charity, how and which one I don't know yet. We thought about doing the local pink ride last year, so that might be something to look into this time if both Gracie and I are in shape for it (and if the lockdown allows it).
