Well, in pictures we start with the VW California borrowed by Jonny followed by the man himself cooking inside it and the small window through which, he would like to make clear, he did not relieve himself in the middle of the night. He only thought about it. Then we have the comically narrow-tracked 1980s Hymer motorhome he might settle for, a picture of a good old fashioned caravan jackknifing, in this case featuring a Rover 75, and some of the dragster stance Brazilian trucks Jonny mentioned.
No picture of the Eagle limo yet because you've all seen the ones from the ad before and we haven't picked up the real thing yet. Don't worry, it's going to happen in the next couple of weeks.

Regarding campervan chat, Johnny, you need to build your own! I bought a lwb Sprinter, stripped it out and kitted it out how we wanted it. It's only a holiday vehicle but easily fits down lanes, car parks etc.

Jonny, stick some Hymer badges on the Eagle Quest and buy a drive-away awning 🤔 A few years ago I bought a K plate Coleman Molne converted Saab 9000 6 door limo, totally on impulse and ended up dailying it for about 6 months, I used it for commuting, picking up unusually long lengths of timber from B&Q and I did sleep in it a couple of times. I justified it to my wife as "sensible family transport", I'm not sure she was convinced.

We had a 1987 VW Camper Westfalia Hochdach. Bloody brilliant fun, but dangerously underpowered and unreliable. This is us stuck at the top of the Gotthard Pass. https://zoona.co.uk/files/JOY/gotthard.jpg The beauty of something this size is that you can take it into town, and it is no bigger that a normal estate car. When we moved to the US, we hired a 34' thing with a ford v10. WAY too big. unpleasnat to drive and impossible to manouver. We looked at the GMC and also the airstream (like off of the NASA astronaut van https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronaut_transfer_van) Go small is my advice. You don't need a shitter inside your aluminium/cardboard box...

Having hired a few T6 camper vans in recent years, I can confirm it’s impossible to go for a slash outside without waking everyone else up. And somehow you always need to go in the middle of the night when you’re camping…
