Opinion poll - UNOFFICIAL VOTING (read before vote)
🕑 Added 2025-11-01 15:03:20 +0000 UTCRegarding yesterday's post, there isn't exactly a consensus among the supporters, as there is a wide variety of opinions.
Once again, THIS VOTE IS NOT OFFICIAL; IT IS ONLY A FORM OF OPINION POLL.
This way I can gather more opinions in a more practical way and perhaps decide what to do with the content going forward.
We've been stuck at the same number of supporters for a long time, and I also think this is due to the exhaustive repetition of content, preventing new supporters from becoming interested.
So I've listed some options suggested by some supporters below, but if you'd like to suggest something that's not on the list, feel free to comment below. You can vote in how many you want, this is open to all supporters.
Regarding the options, here's a brief description of each:
-A weekly theme, where a series is chosen. Supporters suggest a character from that series, and then it goes to a vote.
-Alternating between a week voted on by you and a week chosen entirely by me, including comics and packs (but this may result in the same problem of the same people and themes continuing to win).
-Changing the content, removing fanarts and focusing entirely on OCs created by me, including comics. In this case, comics and packs are all OCs and the supporter s only voter for the situations of comics.
-Content entirely chosen by me, including comics and packs, without further voting or suggestions.
-You suggest a series and vote on it, and I'll choose a surprise character from that series for packs and comics. I also choose the situations, body types and everything.
-The voting for the packs will continue in the same way, but the comics are entirely chosen by me.
-I create my own personal list of different characters every week for packs and comics, and you guys vote on one of them.
-The packs are entirely chosen by me forever, and you only suggest and vote on the comics. Pack may contain fanarts Ocs etc. But the comics still works as it is.
-A wheel of fortune with all the options, and these options will be drawn in order of voting. All of them will be drawn over the course of weeks or months, meaning there will be no other suggestion or voting options until all the options are finished. This could take weeks or months. Basically, draw from the list until exhaustion.

I'm truly sorry that you're disappointed with the content, and I confess that it's completely understandable. Even I, who draw the results most of the time, think "oh, not this again?". And then when I go to draw the personal rewards, it's also "oh no, not this again?". As for the comics, I chose this model with few panels because it's simpler to make and doesn't require elaborate storytelling. But I perfectly understand your frustration; I would really like to produce content that isn't a burden to create and that everyone enjoys.

While I do think that the picks have gotten monotonous and I gave up long ago on the idea that I'd ever have anything I want win since I prefer less mainstream things, I have to be frank and say that shifting to fully OCs would be a full deal breaker for me. No offense, just not my interest personally. I personally would go with Snando and say that allowing suggestions but not having it always be a franchise popularity contest would be good. Wheel is also a good idea, since then everyone gets something even if it has a wait. I've unsubbed a few times while thinking that it simply wasn't worth the disappointment of losing the polls. I also think that having the comics be longer than one page would help a lot with them not feeling so samey. How much can you really do differently if you're always working with 4 or 5 panels?

Well, I just read both posts and I am feeling kinda bad as I am planning to make a Helluva Boss suggestion change for the comic next week. That aside, based on the suggestions, if I am reading and understanding it correctly, maybe the wheel would be best as it becomes more like a wait list, since all the ideas would be there until they're all drawn and no new ideas would show until then. So it becomes a matter of when we all get our ideas rather than if we will, would just be a matter of waiting by then, so not as immediate for some as with the voting but again, gives everybody suggesting what they want eventually.
