Pumpkin Scarecrow π PVC Frame Measurements
🕑 Added 2024-09-18 20:27:06 +0000 UTCHey all! Linked below are the measurements we used for the PVC frame on our pumpkin scarecrow. Our recommendation is to use these as a starting point and adjust based on your needs.
Some Tips:
Knee Joints are Optional (if you want to bend legs).
Use a mix of 45Β° and 90Β° Connectors (for Variety) ...OR you can 3D print Wicked Makersβ PVC Connectors for more angle options.
Lower Legs are Slightly Longer to account for adding shoes/feet.
There's no gap between connectors at hips (you'll still need a 2" piece for each connector).
Optionally, you can swap the Tee for a 4-Way Connector to add a neck.
Using Screws allows for changes. Glue is forever!
Use Rebar in the ground/grass to stand it up.

Do you have any ideas about maybe doing a waterproof hat so he can be outside full time

Hope you guys are having fun building withered Foxy.

Yeah anything animatronic will always be "indoor only" but that just means you should bring it in when it rains or snows. It can be outside just fine in dry weather.

I was wondering, I had bought the same pumpkin head from an outlet, and it says indoor use only.. am I able to put this scarecrow outside? or should I just get a different pumpkin head?
