UnderwhelmingBird

"...creatures we humans call..." Narrowly avoided accidentally outing her eldritch nature "...much larger chunk of Change..." Heh, Nice. I suspect it's only a matter of time before she causes a splintering of the T'au in a civil war. Progressive vs Traditionalist "Greater Good"

Marin Angelov

Thanks for the chapter! Poor fish people. You'll see!

Conman2731

Here’s an interesting suggestion for Echidna. Maybe she should consider offering to gene-alter a few Tau (Ethereals?) with some Navigator genetics so as to create potent and stable psykers for their race??? That should give them insight into the truths of the Warp as Echidna will show them.

Conman2731

Me too!!! I especially want to see their opinion of the great sacrifice the Emperor must make on his Golden Throne.

Conman2731

You know I have this personal theory that Vashtorr is currently manipulating the Tau Empire by controlling the Aun’Va AI that has secretly been put in place of the real one by the Ethereal Council. What do all of you think of that??? Personally I think Echidna should look into replacing Aun’Va as head of the empire ASAP either with Herself, Commander Farsight, or perhaps the good and noble Aun’shi.

Atavatain

I feel like this was a pretty good balance of chapter length with lots of dialogue. Any longer with the dialogue and it would have gotten tedious. Thanks for the chapter.

fity0208

Let her start with a gurgling or something lol

P3t1

Yep, fixed it. Idk why my grammar-check app ate the end of that sentence.

inkaral

" I squinted at said floating head, giving him a non-too-" Something got cut off? I can't help enjoying Echidna making 40k factions have conniptions!

Duke of Coffee

Tau being mindblowned as usual, Dialogue heavy chapter though.

P3t1

Chaos Gods habitually kill and devour ‘good’ warp entities, or they get corrupted shortly after birth by the Warp’s corrupting nature.

Valeria_

This is the musings of a person who only has friends that read and play this stuff, but it's always bothered me a bit that 40k was selective about what got embodied in the immaterium. bad stuff? Here have a god. Good stuff? Nope! I'm sure there's a reason, but I can't help but feel that a neutral Greater Good, whatever Echidna ends up becoming, and something that embodies the nobler aspects of sentients deserves a place in the universe, even if they are on the grim/dark back foot. I suppose the emperor half counts? but he's not fully immaterial.

Albion gray Steel

you know Echidna should offer them contact one negotiable demon that is a mathematical and logical side cough Vashtorr but they will have to pay most of the costthanks for the chapter how is the kitty settling in

JOHNNYBOY 117

And knowing the emperor that's exactly what he'd want her to do. Just chuck her soul in with the chaos God's and order her to self-destruct. But if she could form her own immaterium body like how the chaos gods have their forms, the power limiter would be off right?

Moop

Aww I kinda wanted to see what would happen if the tau asked about the emperor

Tobias Kehrwald

Always love the chapters! I do wonder if Echidna could 'corrupt(?)' 'Anti-corrupt(?)' one of the big fours concept by throwing her soul into it.
