I learned a lot from this guy. He tells you everything step by step. I haven't watched his videos in some time since I no longer need them. There really isn't any true lessons out there that covers 3d minis for printing. I started out learning blender for animation. So the best thing is to learn lots of the basics and that will teach you how to make minis. Like learning how to clean, but secretly teaching karate in the Karate Kid haha. There is one major issue with tutorials. The ones I learned from was many years ago and blender UI / keys have changed a lot. I can show you some of the videos I learned from. There is one video series that does do some very basic modelling for 3d that I think if good for beginners.

Love your stuff! I see you are using Blender. Do you have any recommendations for tutorials/lessons that can teach an amateur and hobbyist, the basics of modeling minis for 3D printing in Blender? Not that I'll ever get to your level =)
