Sometimes I feel like he should just be grabbing random skills and jamming them together until they make something good. Ik there's no guarantee it would work out, but it's not like there's all that much downside to doing it, and you never know what might come from random experimentation if he gets enough building blocks that reinforce each other

They are many mythological sea creatures in the world or fantastic real live sea animals who can be a evolution. Is Thalion not a marine biologist. He should know the diverse lifeforms by heart.

You know everyone harps on shapeshifters being weak or dividing their focus too much in different forms but then something like this stage appears and while everyone is floundering the shapeshifter has an advantage as long as he has an aquatic form he used trained for a good amount of time.
