Love the story, but the numbers have been kinda inconsistent, like in the last chapter the first daughter had over 120 million points, here Thalion says the top has 92 mil. Plus the 6/9 mil for that golden fruit thing in the last stage.

close to just going on= giving up?

I was actually hoping that he would teach thalion all about runes and how to make golems lol
ThaFly
i mean, he probably will, because he is allowed to keep it when the whole thing ends
Matt
Clearly this sword is supposed to become Thalion’s primary which is why it would be funny if he turned it in for points.
ThaFly
also if this disciple is so much greater than his master, how many points is his masterpiece gonna be worth🧐

Honestly, it would kind of be a slap in the face to show us the great things you get with first place and NOT let Thalion get it, after all his struggles...especially considering the fact that he was first place by a large margin for a long time. I do still feel like he'll get it...we'll see, though...as I've had my share of authors dangle the carrot like that and then replace it with a rotten tomato, lol.

Now I think if Thalion doesn’t get first place. He will be fine. Could thalion heal the soul with his amulet? Thalion has so many souls captured, he could probably do something broken with it.
Parker
For sure, I think they probably believe that if they beef up their chosen enough they can just bulldoze through fate and any side effects.
Parker
I’m so excited to see what happens next, the wait is killing me. Also how do you come up with names?
Jailen
Looks like Thalion is about to get a much needed upgrade when it comes down to weaponry. Maybe he might be able to add his affinity to the blade. I wonder of this disciples story is something that actually happened or if its a backstory for the trial because it really sounds interesting and makes me want to see this gurgarous in person if his backstory is true.

The Gods are simpletons. The more they connive, conspire and shower their Chosen with gifts the More Fate and the System conspire against them by helping the one they're acting out against.
