Hrm...why didn't Thalion jump into the center of the ritual and activate it for himself!? =p That said, I do expect him to 'tumble' into the blood pools or something like that and start taking care of said blood while the rest are dealing with the king. He'll probably be the one to ultimately disrupt the ritual, since he seems uniquely equipped to do so...assuming he isn't accosted from all sides. Which I could see happening, sadly.

The mention of outsiders brought up a question I’ve been wanting to ask. Why doesn’t Thalion use the ritual more to, at the very least, get more time from the dilation? And second, what determines the number of outsiders you can get, soul strength?
