The next "Mind Society" Installment - Does it need hardcore?
🕑 Added 2020-09-21 21:46:30 +0000 UTCWe have a bit of a disagreement over some parts of our next installment; while there is certainly nudity and assorted kinkiness in the original script for it there is no real sex in it. It makes sense as a build up as our protagonist is just staring to master his powers but in a way it's bit of a teaser and it may leave some people disappointed. Let us hear your opinion on the matter.

That pretty much the direction we ended up going as a compromise; we're going to have another preview in a day or two and we'll discuss the result of the polls and how we're going to adjust

I agree with Ed here. I usually just want to see the ENF, not hardcore sex. I can find that anywhere I like. Just the ENF with a little fingering and teasing? Much harder to find.

We have a few ideas but for now we're gonna spend a few days focusing on other parts of the game. By the time we get back to it the poll should give us a pretty good idea on which way we should lean.

Yeah, kind of trying to find a balance between adjustment & compromise. But, to that point, you are already willing to consider adjustments, or there would be no polls on where to go next. Maybe introduce a side quest outside the main story arc, perhaps training & testing. Was just imagining him trying to get a girl while getting side commentary in his head on his performance by Brigitte, who is testig to see if she can make him lose his focus... ಠ_ಠ Your call.

Very true, the problem is just with this particular installment. There is quite a lot going on plot-wise before we can get the to the next crystal or the MC is able to return home

One of the reason I like your content is because of the ENF nudity. If I wanted to hardcore content, I would go to Dangerbabecentral's Mr.X to see that. I like that this is different and more of a tease.

It seems to me that you've already got 2 means in the game to sex things up, without interfering with the main story- the comics and the flashbacks. Besides just adding sex, those also serve as a sort of "preview" to what the MC will be able to do once they develop their powers.

Maybe you could compromose: throw in a hardcore scene earlier than written, then as your updates get further into the story, move the scene up to its correct place in tbe the story?

Slow plot would be less of a bother if the production were faster. Since you take so long to make new updates it's kinda a drag. That said, I do get the "artistic integrity" issues, so I really don't know what to tell you.

We're been having the same conversation among ourselves for some time; it's a bit of "artistic integrity" versus "customers expectations" debate. In the last installment the protagonist does very little with his actual powers, the "fanservice" came mostly from the crystal memory and bathtub fantasies. In this installment the protagonist can do more with his powers but in all likeness the crystal and bathtub won't return until version 0.4.2

If his abilities are progressing, so should the content. And a lack of progress may impact patronage.
