Yes, the end of the chapter 3 is as far as the game goes for now. The new collab level of this update has been added in the chapter 1. Glad you're having fun!

Yes you can by going to your previous game file. Open the map and when you see a map called save you can copy these files all 3 of them and paste them in the new version.
