1.11 Progress Tracker
🕑 Added 2023-07-02 19:16:42 +0000 UTCLong time no see!
Given it's been about a year since the 1.10 update I think it's time to start giving a glimpse into what's coming next!
[Update 10/17] Lots is still happening behind the scenes! Hoping to wrap up the last large feature soon, after that progress should be flowing much quicker. Will keep you posted!
Progress 99% (Last updated 1/30/24)
- Revamped home page
- [REDACTED]
- Friends daily journal page
- [REDACTED]
- Steam Deck added as a 'Played on' option
- Dedicated review activity
- Favorite games crown toggle
This is an incomplete list of features that you should expect, as some just aren't ready to share just yet π
While a lot of progress has been made, there's still a lot to do in terms on fine-tuning the home page and making sure to account for both desktop and mobile. So keep that in mind as the progress tracker only goes up when I consider something completely finished. Check back occasionally as I'll be updating the percentage as things move along.
See you on the site!

Our genres come from IGDB, they're planning on revamping them soon which will hopefully improve what Backloggd has for game categorization.

Yeah, I definitely plan on approaching the duplicate merging system again. I originally wanted to open it up to mods but I think the way I implemented it doesn't work very well and is still too manual. So I need to simplify some things on the backend side and then I'd be more than happy to get help cleaning up duplicates :)

Thank you for the update! Glad to know development is progressing. What are your thoughts on using peer review to accelerate the process of merging titles? There are a lot of duplicate titles on the site and I know that is a hugely requested feature. I have to imagine that it seems like a daunting process to manually merge all alternate versions of the games out there, so why not let the patreon backers help with that process? Allow backers to suggest games that should be merged, so that you can quickly and accurately aggregate data on which games should be merged. I'm sure most backers would be happy to help out in that process.
