Fake Locks Chest
🕑 Added 2023-10-25 03:29:52 +0000 UTCThis version of the print in place chest has five different locks... but two of them are fake! This chest will require three keys with the correct combination to unlock. Want to have even more fun? Give the person opening the chest only two keys, then after they start getting frustrated hand them the third key and say you forgot that this chest requires three keys to open, not two :)
I included 10 different chest combinations so you can choose which combination chest you want to print. The files end with the combination of the chest in order. For example, if the first three locks are real, and the last two are fake, the chest will end with (111xx).
1 = real lock. x = fake lock

Hello! It's a great design. Is there a way to change the measurements so that slightly smaller things fit? If I change it in the slicer the lock is modified

Can you upload a file for just the lock mechanism so that I can have a go designing my own chest? Thanks! And maybe one of your next tutorials can be how to make the hinges for boxes and chests.
