You can simply pause the print at the layer the eyes & mouth start printing, swap the filament to a different color, then resume the print. There's no need for separate prints/assembly with this design as single color printers are able to print them in multi color. The squares for the mouth/eyes are 2mm x 2mm which would be too small to print & assemble separately.
