It's impressive that you got THAT far!! Honestly I'm impressed by anyone who does underground food - I tried and I just have no idea when to harvest! I hope it was a good bite!

"Wow! Check out the garden behind this super-old house!" "Must be a historical re-enactment thing." "What...the Civil War? The War for Independence?" "I was thinking '1990s'. Like, before smartphones and social media...back when all of us could still, you know, actually focus on something."

Minzoku Bokumetsu

Dang, I feel like I'm doing something wrong... harvested my weeks-and-weeks old carrots, and after peeling, I had one bite =p (I say that when I'm fully aware I can only do planters, since the prior owners literally astroturfed the yard)

Hahaha oh wow, did I get the wrong M-name or are there TWO presumably male M-name wild cherry tomato plants?? And thank you, I may just leave that corner empty for awhile next year, then...

Once you have grown Matt's Wild Cherry tomatoes, you will never have to plant them **on purpose** ever, EVER again. I'm on year... five?? I think?? Of purely self-sown volunteers. Always Matt's. He's like a prolific and welcome ghost, here to haunt my garden forever more.

ooOOOoooo

Niiiice. BTW, you can pickle the nasturtium seedpods (if you pick them pretty small) and use them like capers.
