Oh yes the beer bottles by ATS I made functional a few years back! The beer crates and bottles I make will not have real names but real adjacent names and custom labels!

Her mod is relly cool! I am going for a more rustic/medieval look. Part 2 of my craft beer mod will be actually crafting those beers using ingredients and a crafting process with a skill. For now I am adding 10 but will add a bunch in future!

could you please add some Australian type beers, I have other beer mods but they are all things like Budweiser and Heineken and I have made one of the worlds to be more Australian themed so Budweiser and Heineken seem very out of place there. Things like Victoria bitter(vb) and great northern would be fantastic

Please make Dark Stouts!!! I'd come up with your own brewing label too to put on the bottles! I've seen another modder do it too, super cool! Think it was ATS4. I have an entire brewery built in my game, it would be a fantastic add to put your stuff!

I’ve made beer! The most important ingredients are malt, hops, and yeast. Malt is a toasted grain—how toasted influences how dark the final beer is. Hops is a bitter herb that’s a natural preservative, but people who like IPA probably like hops (because it has a lot). The yeast can be either top-fermenting or bottom-fermenting—one makes ales and the other lagers. Everything else is variation. For equipment, most modern home brewers use covered plastic buckets. Many people “bottle-condition”—carbonate the beer by adding some sugar to the bottle before capping it. Kegs are a bigger investment. But basically: yeast in and happy, all other microbes out! You heat up the malt on the stove, cool it as fast as possible (so it won’t kill the yeast or attract other microbes), store it in the bucket for a week or two, and then bottle or keg it and let it age a few more weeks. Mead is similar but uses honey instead of malt (beer) or fruit/grapes (wine). Beer is trickier because of the carbonation.

It would be nice to increase the options available to make blueberry beer and add it to the beertap from ATS or something that works as well. I tried a blueberry beer made locally and it was best beer I ever tried.

I’m not much of a beer person either, but maybe an animation of a sim twisting the cap off with their bare hands? Or using a bottle opener to open the bottle of beer? I think detailed animations like that could be cool 😄

I love this idea! I hope that means Sims will be able to grab a beer and drink together at a table!! I have a mod from somewhere that allows Sims to grab wine from bottles and drink together. Will it be like that?

I'm excited for this mod! Especially the mead idea 😊. For Beers there's a lot of options. But I'd probably stay away from flavored beers and stick with types (Ipa's, Ale, Lauger etc)
