Jötunn (be it frost/fire or any in-between) are very much a plague on godheads and even infernals. they could best be described as interstellar planet raiders. The Hegemony commonwealth was closest to the Jötunn's known raiding trajectories and they were hit the hardest once the Asgardians succeeded from their war borders
