OROCHI (continued lessons)
🕑 Added 2019-11-05 03:13:34 +0000 UTCi don't know exactly where OROCHI's royal bloodline originates since he's different in form from most WYRMS but i will say he's more related to King Basilisk than ANU. Non-winged non-limbed WYRMS are considered oldbreed; remnant of the earlier reptile intelligences in primordial times and looked upon as progenitors but also as obsolete by the current leading royals. They are rarely seen far from the core-world empire territories.

you've found a retcon that i did subconsciously and didn't realize until you just told me. that original idea was that Torquemada's R&D section was using one of OROCHI's (along with 6 other famous dragons) heads to reverse engineer a new seven headed dragon of chaos. mass produced beasts of the apocalypse to be used universe-wide. much more recently I pinned down OROCHI in WYRM to be a partner mad scientist with ENKI. i almost forgot about that old ask drawing, ill have to patch up the lore there

I have but a query, much earlier I had asked on the blue space of YAMATA NO OROCHI and you stated that their many heads were sold off by the Kami to increase in their business interests, with one being in the Infernal Conglomeration R&D sector, and was wondering if that is still true, with this either being before the fall and divisions, a continuation of that point, or will that be an emanation of a different phase of existence and bo longer true of this one

each head is an insane genius in and of itself but together the collective can achieve WYRM calculations at a maddening level. their reptile minds have been merged for so long they are more comfortable as a collective than individuals

I can’t help but think the development of the OROCHI will greatly inform that of the Naga, themselves mostly serpentine, perhaps a step between breeds, and mythically possessing their own multi-headed king in Adishesha.
