Interesting twist to have the Crusades being specifically caused by WYRM influence. I feel like a lesser writer would have just used the opportunity to do some kinda far-right 'the Jews are lizard people' kinda shit and glorify the Crusaders, but you've handled it in a way that both addresses the real-life fuckery that lead to the Crusades while playing into your setting's themes.
