Everstone Daycare - Progress Report (Jan. 21, 2023)

Sorry for the late update. We’re trying to fit as much as we can into the next demo, and I’ve sort of lost myself in trying to get everything finished.
In fact, there might be too much to fit in in the time we have left! Between all the work we’ve done: Brand new sprites for all the Retraining Pokemon and Nurses Mew and Charmeleon, A new secondary theme and a few additional sprite expressions for Nurse Ursaring, and 13,500 words of new story, I might not be able to fit them all in in the way I want before the monthly deadline.
So, I’ll be making a compromise for the sake of the people who have generously become or continued to be patrons this January. Instead of delaying the whole demo with all the updates until next month, I’ll be releasing a portion of the content we’ve prepared in time for everyone to get their hands on it this month, and finish implementing the remainder of the content and release a new demo soon after, likely a few days into February. I apologize for this concession I have to make.
Here is a list of what I intend to finish by this month’s demo and the full update after:
This Month:
- Hypnosis Punishment scene with Nurse Mew
- The beginning of Day 2, starting from the mysterious dream before you wake up until your morning diaper change with Nurse Ursaring.
Next Month:
- The continuation of the beginning of Day 2, continuing from after your diaper change to helping a certain Pokemon with their bully problem and subsequently promising to join you on your efforts to escape the daycare.
- Swapping in the new sprites on all prior scenes (Due to different image dimensions and engine shenanigans, I’ll have to do this manually rather it being a simple “model swap”)
- Making all optional scenes (including the already existing ones (both robo hands scenes)) only doable on day 2 and onward. I intend to make a dedicated block of time where you’re able to do optional scenes instead of having to fit in doing them between story-related scenes which might be framed as being time-sensitive.
I don’t intend to let this affect the work I intend to finish by the end of February. I’ve also attached the new sprites so everyone can get a teaser of all the Retraining Pokemon’s new looks!
Last thing, I’ve also set up a sort of open poll for the $10 patrons regarding which Pokemon should be added to the big kid side (as in, the Pokemon not part of the Retraining Program) that’s ending soon! I’ll be picking 2 winners, and so far Arcanine and Lucario are in the lead! If you’re a $10 patron and have a strong opinion on who you want to be part of the daycare, then please don’t forget to vote!

Im only a fairly recent patron, but the regular updates are very appreciated and keeps me excited for the next one! I spent a whole day recently going through the latest demo and you really have something special here. Its what i wish those RPG maker ABDL games i played long ago were. Keep up the great work, its getting better by every month. Regardless of the little bumps along the way, the end result will be incredible <3
Being as ursaring is my favorite character, I can appreciate him getting some love. Great work y'all!
