October is almost upon us, and the scary season is about to begin. Would you like to see something specific this next Halloween?

I'm planning a swamp-based campaign so hurting for maps there. Ideas: 1. A wee house in the swamp seems inviting with lights on in this fog-infested area. Is it inhabited by someone who could guide you through the swamp, or perhaps a Witch of unknown intent? 2. An inviting spot for a campfire near a large tree - dry ground finally found with firewood in this horrible swamp. Will a Will-O-Wisp enchant away a party member? Will the tree slowly strangle those who burn its branches in their sleep? Or will the eerily still pool of water contain some monstrous creature? 3. A maze to get through a water-laden area with dead trees (crocodiles?) as the only path through. 4. A wide body of water would be treacherous to cross in this bog. Luckily, there's a nearby boat-for-hire. The captain's skin is a bit too pale though, and... can I see the lantern behind shining through him?

A ghost pirate ship where the souls of the damned still sail to pillage and burn like they did in life. Ghostly riggers hung from the sails, a keelhauled wretch stuck to the anchor, and a wicked figurehead laughing at the misfortune of the crew.
