Outstanding work. It was great reading and learning. Plus the notes pointing out important issues explained the 'what and how to proceed' in a comfortable teaching manner. You did one heck of a job. Thanks Joshua!

Outstanding. Hope you share this on FB and other social media because other companies need to hire you to do the same for their products.

nice work. This will be very helpful. Hope others will follow their lead .

Extremely well-written Joshua! You are such a knowledgable & valuable contributor to the whole R/C scene. In recognition of all the work you do, I've increased my monthly pledge. Not a lot, but I'm sure every little helps.

Nice job Joshua!

Scott Marshall

I like where you've placed warnings and 'standard practice' hints targeted at newer electronics hobbyists. The bold print is nice too on the warnings. It's well laid out and concise.

"YOUR GOING TO LEARN SOMETHING " when you read that thing..

Joshua Bardwell

No, that's a mistake. It will be corrected soon.

Thats a very nice manual. Probably the best I've seen for a Flight Controller. Good job Joshua.

Joshua Bardwell

I am not 100% sure about that. But I think the inverter is switchable because Holybro told me that both Spektrum and SBUS go to the same pad, and I believe Spektrum is not inverted.

Björn Neuhaus

Nice! Glad to hear that :)

This is the best fc manual I have seen to date! Just one question - does the Kakute have the inverters built in for frsky sbus? How would that work if you use un-inverted serial protocol like ibus?

Looks great, hope your review will be un-biased as always....LOL On other matter still waiting for your reply, I have very sad situation devoloping with ImmersionRC regarding their new Tramp HV (the 6S ver.) - leaving aside the charger I've wrote you about it in the email. Hope you can find a sec, to take a look...

Very nice. Everybody should get you to do their manuals.

Michael Smith

That's great News Joshua, congratulations.... We're Not Worthy, We're Not Worthy..

Dean Larson

This should be the standard by which manuals are written.

This is amazing stuff and will be so helpful for new users and veterans alike. I may have to buy one of these just to support them for their commitment to their customers. As a note, I'm not sure if it's just how my embedded PDF viewer is displaying the document, but it looks like the information regarding connecting the Receiver is duplicated between the bottom of Page 7 and the top of Page 8.

Joshua Bardwell

That was my suggestion, although I confess I first saw it on the Shuriken 180.

Joshua Bardwell

Well in this case, they just hired one to write it :-)

WTF? The cover page is all wrong! It should be something like: Holybro #11028 Kakute F4 All-In-One (image) User Manual, Installation Guide & you're gonna learn something today v1.4

Nice writing ...cleanly written with excellent graphics. I like how they are continuing to innovative by soft mounting the imu...whether this is the best solution, the market will answer...but I love the effort to not make a me-too product.

EliteGeek

Nice job. I'm always surprised these companies can't at least have a native english speaker proofread the manual before they print it.

Joshua Bardwell

Yeah definitely. I'm already working on the manual for the regulard (non-AIO) F4.

Nice, got to the end and saw the Taranis... damn you SPEKTRUM!!!!

Thats literally the best fc manual I have ever seen. Excellent work!

Great work!

That is spectacularly great compared to the usual hastily cobbled-together schematic, or more likely total absence of documentation! Got to admire your dedication to doing a thorough job and attention to detail Joshua!

nice one! I agree with Carlos Martinez, you should be proud, right from A-Z makes me want to go get one, first entry into the f4 world. great job... and paid, would you do it again Joshua?

Joshua Bardwell

You can use a BFF3 and this AIO board with a 4-in-1. You just have to know how to wire it up. I have a video I'm working on with instructions.

Excellent work as always. One question will this board work with a 4 in 1 ESC? This board look like the Beta Flight board and we know the answer to the question on the Beta Flight board.

Carlos Martinez

Great detailed write up. The most comprehensive I've seen.

And your very thorough to.
