Rapidfire vs. TrueD-X

I'm sharing it with you because I appreciate your support and I know you want to see these results. However, I'm asking that you don't share this video outside of patrons because it is based on a pre-release prototype of the True-D X. Furious is sending an updated unit which I will also be testing, so for now we need to reserve judgment. In the end, I will purchase a unit at retail and test that, just so we know the results reflect what you will really get.
Short version is, at least for now, RapidFire still looks like the winner.

wondering, are these recorded through a fatsharks DVR ?- just watched a great video by painless 360 on how updating your fatsharks will improved the video and intemitent black screens that are produced as a result of rapid fires piecing two images together...

Well, I confess I have neither since I've recently started my FPV journey and I'm still using a Viper Box goggles (yeah... I know...). But... sincerely, I've seen the whole video and it seems the True-D reception is definitely better than RapidFire.
Could you make a test with good old trued and trued-x too?

Why is it so Red? Huh? I'm missing something I guess. I wouldn't fly but it looked like either one of those 🤔
On the x, the colors when its clear pop. Why the x is little more neutral. It appeared that rapid seems to be clearer. I bought rapid and ordered the x. We will have to see when the updates come out. Hope there not rushing it.

Module, definitely. Both modules are in the exact same set of HDO, on the same settings. I also noticed the difference in saturation and verified it while testing.
I’ve heard they have fixed the over saturation issue. Don’t quote me on it but I think I remover reading it somewhere.
This is a prototype unit. Take what you see with a grain of salt
Is the color and saturation difference due to the different receiver modules or the settings on the monitors displaying the video? Thx JB

RapidFire still has it at this moment but the finer detail..like tips of the tree branches was better on trud-x but too much color or saturation maybe..
Not by much though it’s good competition for rapidfire. Can’t wait to get X module!
