That blows! Sorry to hear. I've heard they are only 60fps (HQ mode compatible), but the much smaller size will save me a bunch on canopy weight and height; so I have one on preorder anyways. Hope you get yours working again well soon!

AU records in 1080p. Vista records at the goggles only at 720P. I would assume if you used this with the AU you would lose the ability to record 1080p.

I think the resolution is the same -- do you know different? Camera between the AU and the Vista is identical as far as I know.
Itβs nice to have options, but I just donβt think the weight savings or cost difference makes up for the loss in resolution if you have the air unit. On a vista it definitely makes more sense.
