Yes, I set Binding phrase and I bind them quickly, just plug in battery and they bind themselves. 🙏🤝👍

Once you get used to it, it’s not too bad. ELRS discord is extremely helpful when needed. Even helped me with my vtx.

I used to have issues in the beginning, but once I got everything compiled correctly, now I just buy all of the same receivers. I connect them via Wi-Fi, go to the webpage, drag and drop the previously compiled firmware, and boom, updated and bound with my bind phrase and network password. Oddly enough I buy the BetaFPV receivers. Under 1200x microscope the quality is actually incredibly high. They also have 100mW telemetry output, and some of the best antennas. BetaFPV has been hit or miss in the past, but I think they have really stepped up their game in the last couple years.

Wifi mode with binding phrase is foolproof, has more features available and has never failed me yet. No reason to switch methods when what I'm doing works every time.

I’m pretty sure you did know that it will go into bind mode when fresh from the factory cuz I think you mentioned that in a video ages ago when ELRS first came out. I knew that and you’re the only educational FPV channel I watch so it had to come from you 😂

Why would you not use the bind phrase? You just set it when you get the module and update to the latest eLRS. Having to remind when changing radios? Ewww.
