Swim fans didn’t stick even a little bit.

We absolutely would not be better off without emotions. Feelings like love and pride, fear and shame bind us together much more cohesively than any code of laws. A purely logic-driven human would have no impulse to create anything, or to procreate, or even to get out of bed, short of starvation. Remove emotions and culture evaporates, economy grinds to a halt and society disintegrates leaving the remaining logical humans scrabbling for food in the ruins until being set upon by wild dogs who are able to work together in organized social structures due to their doggie emotions.

Swaim excitedly going “oh!” upon hearing “Hana’s got ring fit” is wonderful, and not any less enjoyable for the lower register “okay.” when provided with the context. I was thinking the same thing!

immediately lost it at the the simultaneous “fuck you abe!”, and then lost it again at “let’s have abe on and say fuck you to his face” 😂😭 (also the episode was great)

Not so much a question as a thought. How did Q never have an episode that also included Lwaxana? Or would that have been too chaotic for the universe? ... .............Real question time tho, in star trek future tech falling into the hands of the past is always seen as a bad thing since it changes the future, but the people in the past always try to use the future tech either for themselves, or to try and make the world better. If trek tech fell in your lap, would you try to use it or keep it secret until the future arrives?

Can we have a rule that the host is never interrupted? I almost feel like Michael is getting bullied in word form.

Well, I guess that just proves I need to watch the entire series again.

Literally spock does this when they meet lol

It's a real shame we never got an episode in which Data had a conversation with a Vulcan about the benefits of not having emotions.
