As someone who never used/ will never use Twitter, the intro conversation tickles me, because despite trepidations about the service, pretty much everybody on it is staying on. Also, really wish the question section would pull from somewhere other than Twitter for folks that dislike the service.

My girlfriend has doubts about using tictok for keeping tabs with your audience Mike. She says the TikTok algorithm is unreliable for putting your content out to your followers. A substack would be better in her opinion. You will get a lot of views on tictok, just not necessarily from people who follow you.

You rightly go into how weird it is that Scotty seems unconcerned that everyone he ever knew is dead, but for me it’s even wilder that he doesn’t really delve into the strong possibility that they might not be. Spock is alive, and McCoy either is or recently was. That means that with a bit of luck, anyone Scotty knew who was either younger than McCoy or is a Vulcan could still be around.
