I’ve always loved this Futurama episode, but JESUS I don’t see how some of the jokes aren’t way offensive. Having aliens who are supposed to mirror Ancient Egyptians say “we’re dumb” for using hieroglyphics which “free them from thought and responsibility” like wtf. I just don’t see how anyone can laugh at those lines bc the joke seems to be that Ancient Egyptians were just stupid apparently

Whats funny is theres an interview on michael rosenbaums podcast inside of you , with brent spiner where he cites being able to play 4 characters in masks as one of his favorite episodes to work on because he had so much todo ,
