At the beginning I did not get the bit, and was confused why Michael was being a dick about Ganz’s kid. I also was confused about how I missed Ganz had a kid. Hahaha

There are no paradoxes. We don’t have an explanation for the ear bleeding or handwriting because the characters don’t and we know what they know. As to the collapsible box: Before Abe used a box for the first time, he set up a separate box and started it running. That was Abe’s Secret Failsafe Box. If things went off the rails, he could use Abe’s Secret Failsafe Box to break the initial time travel box he initially used before he used it. But because Abe is a dope, he rented the locker for the Abe’s Secret Failsafe Box from the same company, at the same location, with the same account, so while doing paperwork, Aaron found out about Abe’s Not-So-Secret Failsafe Box. He broke down a box and used the Abe’s Not so Secret Failsafe Box to take it back to the before Abe’s first time travel, and make his own failsafe (with blackjack! And hookers!), and set Abe’s Not-So-Secret Failsafe Box back a little bit. Things went off the rails, Aaron used Aaron’s More Secreter Failsafe (with blackjack and hookers), and drugged Pre-Time Travel Aaron and threw him in the attic. The Aaron that Abe initially takes to see Abe’s first trip was already a time traveler. Things went further off the rails, and Most Futurest Aaron tried to re-failsafe his failsafe self after the run-in with Disheveled Granger. But Futurest Aaron was too tired to fight Failsafe Aaron and dipped out. Failsafe Aaron is the Aaron we follow through the movie. No idea what happens to Most Futurest Aaron who dipped out, but Pre-Time Travel Aaron woke up and got out of the attic. I’m pretty sure that every time they come out of a box they’re leaving a timeline without them behind.
