If you forgot, this show takes a Futurama episode and thematically pairs it with an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which works surprisingly well.

It’s funny how between this and The Orville, The Orville did this better, with a ton of catharsis.

So if you like data entry and record-keeping, there is a warlord-adjacent job for you! Any time a warlord sends out raiding parties, there needs to be basically an accountant with them, who keeps track of how much was taken by the raiding party -- how many car batteries, goats, bottle caps, whatever -- so that the warlord can get his cut after they return. You don't need to fight, carry stuff, or anything like that, you just need to keep track of it for the boss and rat out anyone who tries to keep more than their share. And, if anything happens to you, the warlord will assume the raiding party was stealing from him and killed you to cover it up, so even if you're hated, you'll be well protected.

I don't know if Simpsons also did this joke but "Do you know what's very, very funny? A man dressed in women's clothing." Is a joke from Family Guy. They present it as making fun of British people. I guess I see that but it's weird to act like Americans haven't done that gag about as often.

Freelancing for a bunch of outlets right now!

Leela is similar to Mariner on Lower Decks in how well she would function.

Also I'm a little confused. I thought Swaim quit IGN?

I'm surprised there was no mention of the Ferengies (sp?). If anyone is truly sexist in the star trek universe, it's them.

"Commander, tell me about your sexual organs." Riker: "Uhh......".

Speaking of DS9 matches, no honorable mention of the episode Quark transitions to a female?

Mike, I felt the exact same way about Dave Bautista in Dune 2. Nice to hear it articulated by someone else.

Oh dear. Haven’t been looking forward to this one.
