745. Star Trek: The Next Futurama 75 - Bender’s Big Score (Pt. 3)
🕑 Added 2024-07-15 13:00:13 +0000 UTC
If you forgot, this show takes a Futurama episode and thematically pairs it with an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which works surprisingly well. For the next few episodes of this show, we’ll be connecting the Futurama films to some Star Trek films.
This episode completes the three part episode of the Futurama movie “Bender’s Big Score.” For Part 2, make sure and visit the Gamefully Unemployed patreon!
This show exclusively releases every other episode here on the Small Beans patreon. Wimmy Wam Wam Wozzle!

You said "Isn't Mercury like that?" Meaning, tidally locked. When the period of rotation around the axis is the same as the period of revolution around the sun, so that the same side of the planet always faces the sun. We'll you're warm! Mercury is actually really weird: It has a period of rotation which is like a 3:2 ratio to the period of revolution around the sun, resulting in a day on Mercury lasting more than a year. Whaddya wanna do, fight about it?

You should watch Star Trek 6. It shows how the federation made peace with the Klingons. Admirals have always been grimey.

How. The fuck. Did they call that??

This is just personal preference, but I really love having the theme song come up first. When y’all get back to doing regular episodes any chance you could slip into loose horseshit after the theme? I know it serves as a really great transition from loose horseshit to the show, I just really like it up top.

The reference to the president being shot is pretty wild.
