Michael, Abe, and Dave sit down with the classic Airplane! (1980) to discuss the longevity, jokes per minute, and type of comedy you see in the film that was once voted “funniest movie of all time” by someone somewhere, I don’t know.

Great episode! I’m thankful for Abe critiquing So I Think You Should Leave. I’ve been so alone in my opinion from the start of that show that it’s just loud, crass nonsense which makes sense considering most of the sketches are just rejected SNL skits. Bully for you is you can appreciate that sort of humor, not me though. Then again I never found any Andy Kaufman did funny, so I’m probably not the best judge since the whole comedy world has been singing his praises my entire life.

My answer is Matthew Broderick, for actors that know what it’s like to have taken a life.

You know my love language!

Shoutout to Stephen Stucker for stealing every scene he was in. I especially loved when he pulled the plug 🤣 it's unfortunate he passed away from AIDS six years after the film 😔

I know the list for Frame Rates you made when Small Beans started was never completed too. I wonder if Survive Style 5+ is on there. But I had another obscure slapstick comedy in mind... with sadly some dated jokes.

You should delete this. This man does not represent me. - Abe

Don't call us serious. NEVER call us serious. We'll fucking kill you James. That's a legally actionable promise from a stranger.

Love listening to joke analysis like that. Will you open the Pick The Flick tier again?

A frame rate on the movie Airplane?!...Surely you can't be serious.

It should be noted that the Zucker brothers also produced and wrote on Family Guy,too. Oh,Mel Brooks was also in .WWII
