🕑 Added 2022-08-01 14:01:04 +0000 UTCI've wanted to build up my own kaiju story because...well, it's obvious, isn't it? Kaiju are awesome. And while I feel like most kaiju media spends too much time on the squishy humans, they do offer some greater context for the clashing of titans. The kaiju can exist as simple forces of nature because the squishy humans do all the heavy lifting narratively.
Rather than present another dev doc (unless y'all like those...?) I thought I'd try to explore the world a bit. I'm imaging this world to be something akin to Godzilla meets Primal Rage. Maybe I can come back to Sandre's journey at a later date.

This was yet another excellent look into this world and the start on Sandre's journey. I wanted to avoid saying "immersive" since that's overused right now, but that really is how it felt. I'm not very familiar with the kaiju genre (haven't even watched Clifford the Big Red Dog haha), but big monsters are cool and that's all anyone needs to know really, isn't it? I especially liked that last conversation with the elder. That whole vibe of "Yes, you can come but we're not telling you that directly" is always just *chef's kiss* Also, even after knowing him for only a few pages, the satisfaction of Romag's death was great! :D
