If you read a book and really enjoyed it, tag the author and their publisher in a Tweet or FB post. Social engagement can be the difference between an author getting a second chance or not.

This is more important than many realize. I have several books and have received a lot of great, suppportive comments, but I can't bring myself to beg for reviews--I really just want people to WANT to recommend the book based on its merits.
